What got you into music, and can you tell us about the moment you realized you wanted to be a musician? I was moving to Hawaii and telling the girl I was crushing on that I was fallin’ in love with her. Tell us a little about your latest release, “Fallin.” What might a fan or listener not grab the first or second time they listen through? Are there any hidden nuggets you put in the material or that only diehard fans might find? Paying homage to those who have also grown up around Southern California, the smooth, reggae/rock hybrid track highlights DENM and Watson’s slick vocals and eclectic styles, transporting the listener into the passenger seat of a convertible, driving down the Pacific Coast Highway and tapping along to every beat. With the upcoming release of Slum Beach Denny, it’s time to add DENM to the storied list of Southern California’s musical ambassadors.
